Dot mandalas are very fun and simple. They would make a great pop of color for your room!
Here are the supplies you will need:
-Paint (I used poster paint, which is fairly thin but a little thick, acrylic could work if you add water, no watercolors though!)
-A dotting tool (back of a paintbrush, pen, pencil, earbud or toothpick, something round in different sizes)
-Paper (or any other surface, such as wood or canvas)
-Compass (or an object to create a circle with)
-Ruler
-Pencil
Here is how to create a vibrant dot mandala:
Draw light grid lines (for an even mandala). This is how to draw the grid lines for this mandala:
Split the circle into 16 equal parts
2. Slightly dip your dotting tool in paint, and following the grid, paint dots, holding your tool at a 90 degree angle
Make sure your hand is stable and not touching the paper, as this could smudge the dots. Let the paint dry before continuing if you are conscious to smudge the dots. Practice making the dots on a scrap piece of paper.
